Business communication skills are necessary, no matter what your job is. Aside from your technical skills, you must posses communication skills that would help you interact with your colleagues and clients at work. Because of the importance of communication in the workplace, the employees of the Commission on Audit attended Communicare’s Effective Business Communication Workshop. In the workshop, the participants reviewed the English grammar rules. Then, they learned about the formula for an effective business correspondence, the writing process and the business writing techniques. On the second day, they learned about the tools that they could use when speaking and presenting. It was a productive two-day workshop as the participants actively joined all the written and oral communication exercises.
